Joe Fresh and Yummy Mummy discount on holiday fashions

This post was originally published in September, and I wanted to give you a winter update. Joe Fresh has partnered with YummyMummy.ca to give customers a 25% online discount with the code YUMMY25. You can’t beat that! This code is good until November 19th.

As you all know, I’m a big fan of Joe Fresh. Since moving back to Canada, it has been so fun seeing the clothing while shopping for groceries – amen to that! We went shopping there in the fall for back to school clothes (read on) and now their line of winter and Christmas-themed clothing is out.

It’s adorable, and I can honestly say I see Christmas card pictures in the making with some of these outfits. I remember when my kids were little I went to Gymboree and bought cute Christmas outfits, but they were kind of pricey. I wish Joe Fresh had been around back then!

Joe Fresh has some nice winter parkas and a gorgeous red plaid jacket that I saw someone wearing on Instagram last night. So cute! Oh, and those hats…everyone is wearing them this fall and winter. Not sure if I can pull off the hat look, but I know some of my friends can!

Here’s my back to school post:

Whew! Thank goodness back to school shopping is done for the season. I can’t take another trip to the mall! Shopping with three daughters can be both entertaining and frustrating, and I’m glad I’m not alone.

I overheard many moms having the same discussions with their kids – “Is that going to be warm enough? Are ripped jeans allowed at school? Why are you tying that flannel around your waist…aren’t you going to wear it?”

Each of my daughters received an allotted amount of money to spend on clothing that needed my seal of approval. As they quickly learned, that money can either go a little or a long way, depending on where you shop. I explained to the girls that I often browse the expensive stores for outfit “inspiration” and then try to find the same looks at more affordable stores.

Joe Fresh is a great spot for trendy and affordable items – their kids’ clothes are particularly cute. My youngest and I had a ton of fun shopping in the Joe Fresh section of Superstore recently.

The Joe Fresh brand has really grown in recent years and there are now 15 stand-alone Joe Fresh locations across the country; it’s also available at more than 350 retailers across the country including Superstore and Loblaws. The Canadian brand has also extended its reach into the U.S. and has added cosmetics to its line of products – I just saw eyeshadow and mascara recently in Shopper’s Drug Mart.

This green girls’ utility jacket immediately caught my daughter’s eye.

This military-inspired jacket is roomy enough for a sweater or flannel to fit underneath when the weather gets cooler. She also chose this basic white tee and paired it with her black Ivivva leggings.  Ivivva leggings are one thing we will splurge on because they are such great quality and she wears them everywhere!

She also picked out these moto boots with fur detailing. So cute…I want a pair! We got these at Payless, but here’s a similar pair at Joe Fresh. I also added some links to other cute Joe Fresh items, including a denim one pieceskirt and leggings.

Ok, here’s the best news. Joe Fresh has recently partnered with CAA to give members $15 off on every $50 they spend on clothing purchased in store. I was always a Joe Fresh fan, but this discount is just another reason to stop into the Joe Fresh section every time I’m getting my groceries at Superstore.
