Kendra Scott’s best kept secret

Hey y’all! (I’m going to use that as much as I can these last few months that I’m in Texas)

I love Kendra Scott jewelry – it’s on trend, it can be simple or ornate and I think the price point is decent. It’s not the kind of jewelry that you’d cry for days if you lost, but at the same time, it makes a statement and is really fun to wear. Her use of color in her jewelry is beautiful, in my opinion.

Kendra Scott is very popular here in Texas, since Kendra herself comes from Austin. I have several Kendra Scott pieces, as do each of my three daughters. I even bought Kendra Scott items for my mom and sister recently for birthday and Christmas presents. They hadn’t heard of it yet in Canada. And, when my girlfriend came to town recently, I took her over to Market St. and surprise, surprise…she also found something she loved. I guess you could say I’m hooked.

So, if you can get a deal on Kendra Scott, all the better. Sometimes, the store offers really great specials…yesterday the store had 15% off all rose gold.

But the best kept secret at Kendra Scott is the…Birthday Discount! Did you know that you can get 50% off of one item during your birthday month? That’s right. Just bring your driver’s license or some other form of proof. And during your husband’s birthday month, you can bring him in and he can buy you something for 50% off…lol!

I’m joking, of course, about it being a secret. When I called the store and asked them if they have a birthday discount, they immediately said yes. But, I’m not sure this is something they really advertise. People seem to find out via word of mouth. I was thrilled when my friend let me in on this little nugget of info!

I had my birthday at the beginning of March, and I finally had a chance to pop in there yesterday – talk about down to the wire! It was fun to browse knowing that I was going to get it for half off. I finally settled on a simple pendant necklace, which was not in stock, but they will ship to me for free! I paid $37.50 for a necklace that, regularly priced, would have cost me $75 (before taxes). I love a great deal…and I’m pretty sure you do too.  I just thought you might like to know!

P.S. I’ll post a picture of my necklace once it arrives!
