I know you're a modern mom who cares about her family, has a great sense of style and loves to have fun. We already have so much in common. Don't miss a post and be sure to sign up for blog updates!
A friend of mine was recently approached by her 16-year-old son with an interesting request – to take his girlfriend on vacation with them this summer. They were planning a 10-hour road trip, followed by a week of camping; it wasn’t going to be expensive and far from luxurious. He wanted to know if she could sleep in the extra twin bunk in their trailer and just “hang” with them for a week at the lake.
So beautiful! It’s the first thing I say when people ask me about our recent trip to Turks and Caicos. At times, I felt like I had to pinch myself – is this real?? It was absolutely what our family needed after a busy fall and holiday season.
The first thing you notice flying into Providenciales, the main island of Turks and Caicos, is the turquoise crystal clear water. From the air, you can easily see the reef surrounding the island, making it one of the best snorkeling and diving destinations. It also makes for calm, relatively shallow waters, which is great for kids and those who aren’t fond of bashing waves (that would be me!).
We have just returned from a crazy, but fun Thanksgiving trip to California. Our suitcases are barely unpacked, but I’ve decided to blog while it’s still fresh in my memory.
